Some of you will probably have a good idea of what you want. Others will have no idea at all. Most of you are visual and when you see a page with your information and photos on it you’ll know what you like and don’t like so that’s pretty much how we’re going to start. I’m going to give you a visual and then we’ll re-create it. You know a lot about your business but you don’t necessarily know how to translate that to a web page. I do.
Our pages are built in sections. Any page can have any combination of sections. I’m going to show you a this page which will give you a good idea of some sections and what can be in them. Most of the sections on this page have an explanation at the bottom of the section about it’s layout. This page will open in a new tab so you can take a look and then easily come back here for more info.

What did you think? Pretty cool, huh? Those are just a few samples of an infinite variety of text, pictures and interactive modules that are possible. Under the View Samples menu item at the top of the page there are a few other pages for you to look at. Some are gibberish, some are nice but irrelevant to you, all have filler just to show possibilities.
On the opening page next to the form are some questions for you to answer for me to get an idea of what you’ll need. Before we start I’ll also be asking you about what samples you like and giving you some suggestions. We’re going to get this done and it’s going to be fun!!
This class is a go! I still have a couple of spots available but I have enough good people to make it worth doing – and fun.
I would prefer payment via PayPal to other methods. $100 deposit and the balance at the beginning of the class. If there are issues with that you know I’m always willing to work them out. If you can pay the deposit but need to spread out the rest, give me your proposal in the message section to the right. All payments should be made to firstname.lastname@example.org
Even if we have already talked about you being involved, please fill out the form just so that I have your official agreement.
Start taking adequate pictures of your products and making notes for what you want to see on your site. One of the main reasons sites don’t get finished is that people think their pictures are not good enough. You can always replace them later and you’ll know better how you want the pictures to look in the context of your site. You don’t need props or fancy, just a well lit picture of what you have for sale and a description.
I will give you sources for some stock photography to use as background, sliders, etc.
